We survived our week of "Christmas Musical" crazies.
It is one of the most stresssssssful and
busiest weeks in the life of my family
busiest weeks in the life of my family
They are so very good to me.
Gracious, patient, helpful, careful.
To be on the other side of it brings emotion of relief and sadness.
I'm so grateful it's over and so amazed
at the talent within our church family.
at the talent within our church family.
A tiny bit sad that after 3 months of endless
rehearsing and concentration;
it's over.
However, that means we can turn our attention back to the kitchen!
My family and I had a fun party to attend,
and Baking Buddy wanted to take this dessert.
and Baking Buddy wanted to take this dessert.
I have been making this for years,
and typically only make it around the holidays.

I found out today that it is one of Baking Buddy's favorite things
(who knew!?), and she tried her hand at it this morning.
She hit a home run. It's perfect!
I must say, I'm still waiting to find something that
Baking Buddy doesn't do as well, if not better than me.
My guess is, she will surpass here mama in everything.
She's fabulous.
So...here is the recipe for one of the most delicious
