Sugar and Spice Cupcakes

Fall baking is a beautiful thing, isn't it?

I mean, spring, summer and winter baking
is fun, too, but fall. . .
oh the beautiful fall smells and tastes.

I enjoy conquering something completely
from scratch.
But every now and then, the stores
carry a Spice Cake Mix and I get very excited
to use the help of a mix!

I LOVE Spice Cake!

I LOVE Spice Cake with Penuche Frosting.

So, my friends, the next time you're at the
grocery store, pick up a Spice Cake Mix.

Follow the directions on the box.
And then top your cake or cupcakes with this
Delicious Penuche Frosting!

In a saucepan melt 1/2 cup butter

Stir in 1 cup packed brown sugar

Cook and stir until bubbly

Remove from heat and add 1/4 cup milk.
Beat vigorously with a
wooden spoon until smooth.

Measure 3 1/2 cups powdered sugar
into electric mixer.

Pour cooked sugar/butter mixture in slowly
while mixer blends together.

Beat until smooth.
Spread or pipe on to your
beautiful Spice cake or cupcakes right away.

Frosting "sets up" quickly,
so don't dilly dally!

Look closely at the cupcake liners. . .
I love how it just looks like beautiful
classy black liners,
but they are printed with skeleton heads!

Creepy Classy

Don't forget to share!

you are loved
